Praise from Kazakhstan!

It is with sincere joy that I share with you the latest development in Pastor Makset’s story. I have blogged in the past concerning his imprisonment in Kazakhstan and pending deportation to Uzbekistan, which would have resulted in imprisonment on charges of practicing religion outside the state regulation.

On December 4, 2012, he was released from prison and taken to the airport, where he was able to be reunited with his children and his wife, who is expecting their fifth child. They were flown to Germany, then on to an undisclosed country.

Please praise God for His work in this situation! Thank Him that this brave pastor and his family will be together for Christmas! And, please join with Pastor Makset and his wife and they seek God’s guidance concerning what their next steps should be.
