Urgent prayer request from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

On September 18, 2012, I shared about Makset Djabbarbergenov, the leader of a house-church in Uzbekistan who fled to Kazakhstan seeking asylum. At Uzbekistan’s request, Kazakhstan arrested him and held him in jail. His wife, Aigul, has not been allowed to see him. His detention in Kazakhstan has been extended, pending a hearing scheduled for Monday, November 5th. The charges in Uzbekistan, meanwhile, have been increased from a charge that held a 3-year prison sentence to a charge that carries a 5- to 15-year prison sentence. Please pray for his safe and quick release, as well as for his wife and family. They have four boys and are expecting a fifth child.
